SunnyTalk’s Background
I’m Ivy, the creator of SunnyTalk. My teaching journey began in a cram school back in 2018. In that environment, I had to follow the strict guidelines to teach large classes filled with over 15 students. Unfortunately, some of them can’t keep up with their classmates which will make them feel left behind, stressed and easily give up on the learning process. As a teacher, this kind of situation is what I want to see. However, kids have such busy schedules nowaday, packed with all kinds of extracurricular activities, and parents are always looking for the best ways to make learning easier and more flexible. For these reasons, that’s why I created SunnyTalk. At SunnyTalk, we focus on one-on-one lessons or small groups with no more than four students, so that every student gets the attention they need. Our goal is to make learning English fun, effective, stress-free, and truly enjoyable. We believe that if you can put yourself in the children’s perspective and think in their shoes with empathy, they will be more convinced of you and willing to learn English with you.
